SHIPPING FOR THE "GEP AND PPW" ITEMS:

We ship UPS primarily.  For small, light items that are drop shipped, USPS Priority is sometimes less expensive. Most of the heavier items have weights listed.  UPS rounds up to the nearest pound so 4oz or 15oz cost the same to ship.  16oz to 31oz would also cost the same (billed as 2 lbs). 

Large items that are lightweight are charged a dimensional weight. The explanation for dimensional weights is listed on the UPS.com site.

It is our policy to ship items with tracking numbers to confirm receipt by the customer.  On certain small, very light items, shipping would be less if shipped First Class

Mail, however, there is no tracking number for these packages.

Though some customers prefer this method of shipping on these certain packages, we assume no responsibility for claims for non-receipt of product.  Having said that, we have not had an instance where a customer claimed they did not receive the items thus far.
 

In addition, please keep in mind that USPS items are not insured.  We assume no responsibility for USPS packages that are damaged during transit.
 UPS packages are insured to $100.00.  


EXCHANGE POLICY:

Exchanges can be made within 7 days of delivery, as long as they are in original and unused condition.  All tags, hangers, and polybags must be included in the returned shipment.  Any exchange items without these will be assessed a restocking fee of 20% on the original order.

For defected items being exchanged, please return the item once an RA# is issued.

Exchange for a different item than the original will be assessed a restocking fee of 20% of the original order.

Partial returns within the 7 day period will be assessed a 20% restocking fee of the original order.

Any items not returned in the condition it was received will be assessed the same restocking fee.


PPE ITEMS: 

Orders will be shipped via UPS or USPS. Average processing time 2-3 days, while a very few items are 3-5 days.

A 20% restocking fee will be charged and customers will be responsible for returned shipping for all non-defective returns. 

Tail Waggin Travelers is always concerned about your satisfaction. However, we regret that dog apparel and costumes, cannot be returned to us to protect the health of our customers dogs.  Unless there is a defect in workmanship in which case we will replace with an identical product.

PPE Items are drop shipped and are sent USPS Priority Mail. 

On all orders with Expedited shipping, 2nd day air, next day air, etc..., We will make every attempt to process, pull, pack, and ship your order as soon as possible but, orders are still processed in the order they arrive. Your shipping choice is for the actual shipping method used. Items ordered with "2nd day air" delivery will not necessarily be delivered in 2 days from the time the order was placed but should arrive within 2 day's of when the order was SHIPPED.  

BACK ORDERS AND DISCONTINUED ITEMS 

From time to time (and much to our dismay), shortages and out of stocks will occur. Items may be back ordered for three reasons:

1. If there is more demand for the item than we originally anticipated, and our suppliers have to re-supply us with the additional inventory. 
2. If the manufacturer has failed to ship to us in a timely manner due to a shortage of parts, materials, etc. 
3.
Transportation strikes, natural disasters, etc. 
----  When we experience an out of stock situation, your entire order will be shipped at one time if the out of stock item arrives within 5 working days of the date of your order.
----  If we don't anticipate being able to restock quickly enough to meet the 5-working day limit, your order will be shipped minus the out of stock item.
----  At that time, out-of-stock items priced over $15.00 will be treated as a backorder unless the customer requests that we not ship back orders.
----  Out-of-stock items priced under $15.00 will be deleted from the order, and you will be asked to re-order at another time.
----  If we don't anticipate re-stock of an item in a reasonable amount of time, your order will be shipped minus the out of stock item, and you will be asked to re-order at another time.
----  Discontinued items will, of course, not be shipped.
You will receive a notice in the first package indicating the dispensation of any items not shipped.

RETURNS:

All costs and merchandise are non-refundable unless product is damaged or lost.

You must return all merchandise unused within 30 days of receipt. All items must be in original packaging including instruction book, warranty cards, etc. A 20% or $5.00 re-stocking fee (whichever is greater) will be applied. All Shipping is non-refundable (unless due to damage).

For your assurance that returned merchandise is received safely, we suggest you send returns via U.S. postal service, UPS, or Fed Ex with insured delivery. All return shipping charges are paid by the customer.  Please e-mail us at customerservice@tailwaggintravelers.com to let us know of your intent to return an item(s) in order to insure that your return can be processed correctly. We will issue a Return Authorization number by return e-mail.

SHOULD A MISTAKE OCCUR:
We make every attempt to avoid errors in the processing of your order, but sometimes mistakes happen. When one does occur, please allow us to correct it.

Our goal is the complete satisfaction of each and every one of our customers. We hope that all of our customers are satisfied with their purchase. However if the rare situation occurs where you are not, then we want to invite you to return your item to us. Please review the return policy below.

Order Cancellations

We strive to process your order as quickly as possible in order to get it to you in a very timely manner. If you decide you must cancel your order, please do so by calling number - 1-231-649-2699 - within 4 business hours of order placement, with the exception of expedited orders.

IMPORTANT: When you call to cancel your order, please be sure to get a Cancellation number from the customer service representative for confirmation of your cancellation. All cancelled orders must be assigned a cancellation number.

No emailed cancellations can be accepted.

Orders cancelled after the 4 hour limit, but before shipment, will be charged a 10% cancellation fee. Once the order has shipped, it becomes our customer's responsibility and a Return Authorization Number must be obtained once your order has arrived if you wish to return it.

Refused Orders

Should you decide that you wish to refuse receipt of an item when delivered by UPS, USPS, FedEx or common carrier and legitimately ordered from us, credit will be issued for the item, minus shipping charges and minus a 20% restocking fee. The credit will be issued once the item has been returned to us and after inspection by our return specialists.

Returns

Tail Waggin Travelers wants you to be completely satisfied with any product you purchase from us. We offer knowledgeable, helpful people to assist you in making wise and appropriate choices for your needs and the needs of your dogs. However, our customer service representatives can not be held responsible for incorrectly ordered items.

If you are not completely satisfied, simply request a return authorization within 30 days of invoice. Tail Waggin Travelers is not responsible for defective items. In the rare event a customer receives a defective item they are to contact the manufacturer for warranty information. Manufacturer contact information should be included with the item ordered.

  • Returns need to be requested within 30 days of invoice date.  Initial and return shipping charges, are not refundable. Return Policy Exceptions listed below:
     
  • All returns must have a Return Authorization Number. No returns will be accepted without receiving prior return authorization. 
  • NO COSTUMES OR APPAREL can be returned - unless Packaging is UNOPENED. No Exceptions.
  • Merchandise must be in a new re-sellable condition, in the original unopened packaging and must include manuals, blank warranty cards and all accessories provided by the manufacturer. All returns will be inspected by our returns specialists.
  • Partial returns and/or damages will NOT receive a full credit. Items damaged through "wear and tear" or due to return shipping damage will receive PARTIAL or NO CREDIT at the discretion of Tail Waggin Travelers.
  • If the item returned is NOT free of pet hair, debris and/or odor, your refund will be less than the original charge to you or no refund at all.
  • All returns are processed online using the following procedure:

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Order Number
  • Invoice Number
  • Invoice Date
  • Item Number of product(s) being returned
  • Reason for return

If any of this information is missing from your email, NO Return Authorization will be issued. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If these instructions are followed properly, you should receive your Return Authorization Number via email within 3-4 business days.

Please allow 14-30 days for your return to be inspected and for accounting to issue your credit.

Please Note - the initial cost of shipping to Tail Waggin Travelers will be deducted.
